Edinburgh Markets for the Community

Hello! We run community marketplaces in Edinburgh. These are traditional markets but with a community focus so, not only do we sell a mix of food, clothes, arts/crafts and gifts, but we also organise events and develop social projects to help build community.

We started in May 2011 and are currently developing our first community marketplace, at the top of Broughton Street. We run a Festival Market here in August, a Christmas Market in December, and a weekly Saturday market from March to July. See here for full details.

NEXT MARKET

Our weekly market runs every Saturday from 10am - 3pm. Regular traders include: Breadshare Bakery, RBG Fruits, Voxbox Music, Best Friends Bakery, Glassehouse, Planet Soap, Loch Leven Tablet Co, Highland Drovers, Cedar Cottage Country Foods, Campbell & Sons Butchers, Potty Perennials, Marie McQuade Chutneys, Rockdove Knits, Gecko Gallery, Tall Paul Records, Kyley Campbell Jewellery and Gusto Catering. We are now hiring stall equipment. Up to 17 stalls of 1.2m x 1.8m (6' x 4') dimensions.
